SPIRIT EVENTS
How do you feel?
Whitney Key Club is one of the 14 schools in Division 30 South, or otherwise known as D30S, and our mascot is the shining sun! Spirit events bring the school, division, region, district, and Key Club international closer together. How? Although we all are different in our own special ways, Key Club unites us all through our passion to serve. Spirit showcases the pride we have for what Key Club stands for.
DIVISION COUNCIL MEETINGS
Division Council Meetings, or DCMs, are monthly events. In the beginning, our Lieutenant Governor shares updates and announcements. Afterwards, the division participates in the activities that our Division Leadership Team prepared.
REGION TRAINING CONFERENCE (RTC)
This is also October DCM and is where Key Club members will have the opportunity to learn more about Key Club and meet members from all over Region 3. There will be workshops about numerous different aspects of Key Club, such as District Projects and the Kiwanis Family. It's super fun and informative!
FALL RALLY SOUTH
Every November, thousands of Southern California members gather Six Flags Magic Mountain to ride famed roller coasters, meet new people, and participate in the Rally where D30S will battle it out with other divisions to try to win the Spirit Stick!! A portion of ticket sales will be donated to PTP.
DISTRICT CONVENTION
District Convention, or DCON, is a 3-day conference celebrating the end of Key Club's term. There are workshops to learn about leadership skills, delicious food, a Governor’s Ball, a talent show, award ceremonies and more! High schoolers across the Cali-Nev-Ha district are all invited to go to this bittersweet event.
